NATHAN HALE HOMESTEAD!

Fun At Nathan Hale's Home

Many local Revolution War groups, including Middletown's Col. Return Jonathon Meigs 6th Ct. Regiment attended a fun and informational event at Nathan Hale's home. Music from the 1700 was played plus education on what it was like to live in then. The British even came and attacked the troops in the afternoon! The Red Coats surrendered, our regiments won the battle!

Patriot Nathan Hale Was Hanged September 22, 1776. "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country." Have you heard this famous declaration before? American patriot Nathan Hale said it on September 22, 1776, his last words before he was hanged for spying on British troops. Connecticut's Hero, Nathan Hale's home and schools still here and open to the public: http://www.ctlandmarks.org/content/nathan-hale-homestead
